Klamath Falls to Caldwell

After leaving Harlan & Shirley's we traveled north to Bend, Oregon and then took route 20 east to Caldwell, Idaho

Along the way we saw this "Shoe Tree" near Burns, Oregon but didn't pick any as they weren't quite ripe yet.

I'm proud of you, Teddy! The picture of Crater Lake is great, despite all the snow! I would have done the same as you and climbed the snow to take the photograph!! We must be more related that Larry & I are! Well - come to think of it, you & I ARE related in a distant fashion through some of those common ancestors! They must hold the adventurous blood line!! Anyway - great picture! I was there in 1976 and it was beautiful!!
